A lot of history there! I’ve always wanted to see the Taj Mahal!
I've found that a lot of people here in the U.S. don't know much their own country,
much less anyone else's.
I post prayer updates about different countries. Part of the reason is to raise
awareness about what's going on in the rest of the world.
Recently I’ve started a personal initiative; if I notice someone on DA
is from another country, If I've done their country I let them know.
It’s my way of letting them know that others are thinking about their home.

Thanks. Pardon me for late reply. Its nice to see people interested in my country. Sadly thousands of years people have tried to conquer India. Sad to say that even today many of them still trying. But I am proud to say no one has ever been successful and never will be. Hinduism is the dominant, and perhaps oldest religion in the world, in India. Almost all of today,s scientist will argue this fact but India's history dates back to millions of years. If one can follow its stories properly there is still evidence to prove. From first rockets, planes, missiles to first wireless transmitter. Development of politics, military, aviation, navy, navigation, etc. most of the books and knowledge was destroyed by invaders.
