oh yeah, an amazing day with my family and relatives!
But not a lot presents since I don't feel like I need anything material right now. Plus I think that birthdays shouldn't be taken as a day when you'll get a bunch of cute but unnecessary things. Come to think of it, society forces to consume on every corner..

Thats true. And you can also celebrate yourself every day!
But I'm glad you had a great birthday. I love to get letters on my birthday or also during the year... I like the thought behind it, even if it's material in a way, but not such a way.

Yes, i belive that birthdays have more of a sentimental meaning. And it's nice to remember them.
Last year I got a letter phobia and as a result I couldn't make myself to answer them. Even the thought of reading letters made me nervous.
But right now, I love letters, too. Especially handwritten ones. A friend once sent me an old looking one which was closed with red wax and written on vintage paper. I'm still keeping it.. I think that internet and fast communication are rather overrated.

I don't mind.

I'm an accountant in a police departement. >< But it's the most exciting job that I could get as an accountant. In august I'll start an art school... it's kinda chaotic.

Yeah, a real real letter! I'd love to write one.

It's not studying, but I'm a student. >< After finishing it, i've got the general qualification (Matura/Abitur) in design and THAN I'm going to study art. Or I become a sailor.
