# About me
I am a geologist who loves to photograph. I began to photograph when I was 8 y.o., using a Kodak Rio 400 camera that worked with 127 mm films. When I was 13 y.o. my father registered me on Kodak photos class and gave me an Asahi Pentax SP II. Nowadays I use small digital cameras - Kodak, Samsung, Pentax -, a Fuji Finepix S8200 and, sometimes, my daughter's camera, a Nikon D3100.
I bought a Fuji Finepix in 2014. Finally, I could make better birds photographies with its powerful zoom lens and I could expand my essay on wild animals that lives in environments modified by humans - the "forestllesses" ones - name given to the Michael Fry and T. Lewis movie "Over the Hedge" here in Brazil.

Sou um geólogo que gosta de fotografar. Aos 8 anos, comecei com uma Kodak Rio 400 e, aos 13, depois de um curso da Kodak, ganhei de meu pai uma Pentax SP II. Hoje, uso pequenas máquinas digitais, que procuro carregar sempre: Kodak, Samsung, Pentax, uma Fuji Finepix S8200 e, às vezes, a câmera de minha filha, uma Nikon D3100.
Em 2014, com a Finepix, enfim pude me dedicar às fotos de pássaros - a câmera tem uma zoom poderosa. Assim ampliei muito meu ensaio sobre animais tipicamente selvagens que, sem ter para onde ir, vão se adaptando à vida nas cidades - parafraseando o desenho animado de Michael Fry e T. Lewis, são os sem-floresta.
