I have recently taken a lot of chances with my art like drawing faces and also trying to do my own concept art. I am learning a little more about myself as well as my drawing style. I have also been experimenting with my photos. I tried to take the obvious angle and make it extraordinary. I think any comment that I get helps me decide what to do next and its nice to meet new artists.

I was debating on the most appropriate place for this post, but here shall do for now (or perhaps FB if I hear nothing from you... LOL). I noticed (and appreciate) that a lot of your work is comic/fantasy based. Has that always been your area? Have you considered expanding? I like your work, and think you have a lot of raw talent. So I was just curious.

Honestly a lot of what I draw are just things that I like to see. I am a huge nerd so I draw a lot of Fantasy and comic characters. Occasionally I will do pictures of people but not as often. I would like to get better at drawing a lot of things like backgrounds and honestly people. I have been trying to find a life drawing class or something to help me with that but I haven't found anything in my area that would work with my schedule yet. Thanks for the interest. If you have any suggestions for expanding or classes you know of that might be helpful please let me know.

I know I've seen some in the community classes ad thingy, but I haven't looked recently. As I'm pretty sure you've graduated already, I suppose YCP is kind of not as convenient... There have been tutorials on here that I have found beneficial for other mediums, so perhaps there are some for drawing that would help you? And of course practice always helps...

Yeah, I graduated back in 2010. I looked on the website but they don't have a course catalog that has anything I can find in it. But the good news is I found a website that has a ton of reference photos on it that works the same way as a class where you have so long to draw the pose before it switches to the next. All is well.
