# About me
Educated in Art to GCSE level, further educated by 8 years work in an artisan ceramics/screen printing cottage industry, including commission work from Eric Idle, Robbie Coltrain, Dame Judy Dench, Alan Akebourne and many museums, replicating work by William DeMorgan, Pugin, Braque, Edward Lear, Tennison, and Others. The highlight of this culminating in ceramic work replicating the stunning celtic artwork of Courtney Davis.
That's the Dull bit.
I have a massive rebellious streak and in early adulthood, you better believe I was walking the walk, heavily Influenced by the kind of culture that comes with being a huge Rock/heavy metal fan and officianado, I rode in a Motorcycle side patch club, and got to see Sooooo many live shows, I cant actually list them all. Hanging with other friends meant I also became a regular interested viewer of the Underground English Rave/club scene during the break through of the trance, Techno and electronica movement.
My creative side these days is scatological and can take me by surprise, now that middle age has settled in, I find most of my inspiration comes from replicating scale models and photographing them to the best of my ability, but occasionally a stray spark ignites my imagination to put brush and pen to paper again. There is a dark or melancholic side to all of us and Im not afraid to let mine spill over the page occasionally, my personal favorite artists include, Goya, Giger, Klimt, Bosch and Blake.
