As a fellow sculptor I take my hat off to your slick skills and excellent finished works.
Question - did you move Los Angeles to seek industry work or were you already living in the area?
I'm living in Melbourne (the arts capital of Australia) and arts work is still incredibly scarce around here, so I've been considering the possibility to move to America for the sake of my career. Any words of wisdom you could share about how you got your foot in the door would be wonderfully helpful

You have some amazing stuff. The clay that you use...do you get it at any art store or do you have to special order it? An effects artist and conceptual designer is something I aspire to be as well.

Any really good art store should carry it...keep in mind, super sculpey is really, really soft...Some people love it...some people hate it...I guess its up to you to make that decision...Thanks for all your compliments and your criticism...Good luck with your aspirations...

Thanks for the fav! Great gallery, it is a great compliment! You may want to check out Toyarts.com there are usually job posts for sculptors in the toy field. A lot of them being on the west coast. I know that McFarlane was looking for sculptors recently. I have been working in the toy field for the last 15 yrs. and there is always a need for a sculptor with your skills.
