There are people who have an immunity to the splicing side effects. I wouldn't be one because my character is a bartender.

With that being said you wanna be mentioned in the story? An original character I mean some of the characters are gonna get weapons and I need to name someone as a designer for or purposes. It's like a one chapter shout out.

sure. Use Geoff Lowe as the name of the designer. for the weapon though hmm. use a M1 Garand for the base but add in a larger magazine with it being a box mag. shorter stock with a pistol grip on it. and for other mod on it hmm. add the lightning power on it with lightbulbs to show the ammo of it. so as it shots it can shock enemies as well.

pretty much. but the barrel is still an M1 (Time frame of the M14 and all) The M1 was still in use when rapture was being built so some would find it down there.

would be a nice thing for a former soldier to get an upgrade. Also i thought about it for a while i think it would be cool for the plasmid of the user influences the rounds elementalness like fire or water or lightning.
