Hi Jaguaro! Yes...Shame on me!! I haven´t connected for ..God knows for how long!! more tan 2 years..I guess
Altough I confess surfed on DA a few times.  I guess plenty of work and lack of motivation kept me away from logging in.
But I´ve decided to begin a new year with another attitude!
Thanks for asking , but yes I am OK.
I´ll be roaming again..logged, that is.. more often.
I want to wish you a 2015 with lots of health and good will to you and your loved ones. Hope you had a great xmas!

Glad you are back!  I still use the art you did as reference for the NSD characters, which I also took a brief break from, but will be working on in 2015.

I remember that Suzie Chan was one of your favorites, so I did another artwork of her for you.  It's on my site.

Hope you have a good holiday season and see you in 2015.

Jag

PS: I know you are busy, but any chance I get another lineart of them, in exchange for a trade?

Hey thanks Jag!
I think I found Suzie with Daphne and a monster, he he he.

It is cool to know you are using them as reference. I took a fsat glance at your site and seems you have new more art and some NSD art from others that look real nice.

PS:It may be a good time to draw them, while I am waiting for some work. I still have the other preliminary sketch I sent you..Will tat one be good to finish? or tell me if you have an specific depiction of the drawing.

Any sketch of them in a different pose would be great.
I already have a cover of them that you did, and that prelim one.  Both are helpful.

What would you like me to draw for you?  Note me when you get a chance.

Right on John!
Now, you better be nice and behave if you haven't yet! Ask Santa for a simple cintiq.. just don't expect anything else from him not even the foiled milk chocolates.

And hey! I just posted your Chan gals on my recently created FANART folder!! Although I gave you credit on the descriptions,I just hope people won't get confused and start faving them to me..(you know how people sometimes don't read descriptions) If they do, I'll credit to you anyway.

No problem....I won't post it here, 'cause I made them for you, so I have no problem with you having them on your site. That's cool!

No, although I've seen cuts and especially the ugly guy. I have a friend who did a drawing of him but I am unsure if he posted it. I think his DA name is lalovarela. I'll check it later and if he did I'll link it or tell you.

PS: No way!? El Paso, Las Cruces, Albuquerque??

So when was this?
I don't cross as often as I used to (about 5 times this year)
Here's the link to LaloVarela machete (not sure if the link will work)[link]

Yes; his DA name is LaloVarela.

Cool, I would say those 2 decades were good around this area. The 70's were still better.

I don't know, I preferred the mid-late 70's with its simpler way of life, less population, less pollution..more values..or maybe I am just getting older and grumpier..ha ha

Jaguaro In reply to chavochi [2011-07-17 18:37:26 +0000 UTC]

It seemed more polluted and more poverty stricken then!

I don't know Jag. Perhaps there was more poverty, but it seemed people lived more peacefully with less acqusition power. And I am not taking into account this decadent era in my city; it's something I hve been seeing decades ago.. Who knows? maybe you've been seein it from El Paso's perspective. Or it may be a vision I had as a child.

Less violence, but the state had a monopoly on it. Mexico is going through what the USA did in the 1920s and 1930s.

Yes, I guess sort of like the mafias, but now these organizations have more political and armed power.
It is a shame.

Who knows. Of course they could legalize the stuff. Then bullets would freeze in mid-air, or so they did in a political cartoon teasing the idea that legalization solves everything.
