Hello there! I notice that you are a Second Life photographer too, and I have a question for you: do you know if we are allowed to post Second Life photos as deviations? I was told off for doing so by another artist here on dA and was told to place screenshots in my scrapbook instead. However, I have never come across another Second Life artist that does so. I briefly skimmed through the TOS yet as far as I saw (I didn't thoroughly read it over again) it said nothing about screenshots.

Considering that I do not use screen shots, but I do save photos to disk when I take them. I consider a screenshot a full view of the entire screen of sl including all the chat bar etc). I redo all my photos within another program. I have never had any issues with other artists about my photos. It is not against TOS I believe either. Artistry is artistry in any form.

I see that you edit your Second Life photos (and I have to say I'm pretty sure we use the same editor too!). Yes, I consider a screenshot to be just an uploaded picture from a game or TV series without any further editing, etc and probably subtitles or chat logs and things of that nature. I guess I will just submit my Second Life work as regular deviations and see where that takes me. Guess some artists are just way too well prickish about some things.
