Yup. Still doin' what I do in this expensive town of strangers. :P (Lick) It's unfortunate that not much has changed but that's how it is. Going alright man. Ran into a friend from another part of the building at work, got some drinks, and chilled with more friends. Haven't had really solid conversation in a long time so stepping into this painter's wonderland was super impressive.

Very impressive stuff. A bit of an exaggeration but they really make the place work with such a moderate space. They had paintings of people, still life, all classically done, 2 easels set up, lamps, canvases and painting spaces that you'd see in a big highschool classroom. A Cintiq set up in the corner. So friendly too. They're like "if you want, you can paint right now" when we were all smashed. Pretty funny stuff. It's a great feeling to find out people you knew were good people actually turn out to be freaking awesome people. I think it's cause we're all art geeks. She gave me some great tips about digital painting too.
