No worries, I started attending cons as a creator last year and really love the cosplay scene, cos well, cute geek girls obviously, but I'm also very impressed by the effort and intricate detail put into the outfits.
You're a great Ms Marvel, and Jessica Rabbit is always gonna be special if you can pull it off, but you might just be the best PG I've seen!

no problem, that's a really striking piece...
obviously hot naked women are always nice to look at but I'm also a fan of the very bold and strong images you create, there's a lot of subtlety achieved with some very powerful and heavy lines there in your work.
Is art more than just a hobby for you, are you in any capacity professional? Do you get paid to produce your images?

I'm a "PRO". I'm a graphic designer / illustrator for a custom screenprinting business. I want to get paid for my art, my original art.

cool, I did some freelance for a while. It dried up while I was abroad. I haven't been very proactive finding or soliciting new clients. I tried to make up a cv/resume for job applications but it looked pretty scant since my art "education" ended age 18. All the Pshop and Illustrator knowledge is self taught.
You seem to work digitally for the most part, does that effect the marketing of "original" art. I have sketches but all my finished pieces are at best digital prints. Doesn't that take away from the uniqueness of original art?

My digital art is pretty much just computerized versions of paintings I've done. I prefer doing stuff by hand, but sometimes I work purely digital. There's not much of a market around here for art of any kind it seems. Might start offering prints that I make but don't know if DA will like that since they won't make the 80% off of it or what ever ridiculous percent they want to charge.

hmm i dont think dA would have a beef, there's lots of folk on here who link to other sites that sell their stuff...
gorjuss and ilovegravy both sell stuff elsewhere...
i think gorjuss does quite well, her stuff has mass appeal i think. i wouldn't sell prints via dA it's not a good deal really.
