Your Kiyoshi warrior armor is fantastic! What did you make it out of? It looks like leather but it seems pretty solid at the same time so I assume there is something solid under the leather.

Thanks so much! ^u^ It actually IS leather--just leather! It's cured with wax to hold a shape and it is pretty solid, while still movable enough to be comfortable.

Neat! I've never heard of curing leather with wax before. How do I learn to do that?

Well I had a friend who's a leather and armor maker do most of the work for me, but I helped him do it so I know the basic procedure. 
Hope that was helpful, but I'd recommend asking a professional or looking around for how-to videos on youtube or otherwise.
