I know its random - I knew that your name was so familiar to me! One of my favorite 1920's jazz singers, Clara Smith (related to Bessie Smith, the more famous sister.) My favorite song is Shipwrecked Blues. Just a fun little fact of the day.

The character has no history to go with the ears and they're just drawn like that for a "just because" type reason. The artist who drew it wouldn't be the one to ask, you would have had to ask the owner of the character. I can't tell if you did or not, but judging by the response of the owner, they had not been talked to before.

I received your images of her through DA Pitbulls. I prefer to favorite the shots that are in focus and show the gentle and happy part of the breed. The ones where the dog is showing emotion. I have also been looking for potential stock/reference dogs so yeah. That's the long version of why.
