As with others mentioned here, your work was truly an inspiration in game design. When I salvaged the port of Chaos Engine to RISC OS years ago, it really showed up the quality of your work and the distinctive image you gave to the Bitmap Brothers work.

Wow, the actual Dan Malone! Your work had a profound impact on me back when I was a kid playing Speedball 2, Gods and the Chaos Engine. It's really good both to see you on here and to see some more of your work.

I think it's fair to say there's a tiny bit of your work present in all of my own now. Maybe only a bit, but I'm glad it's there. So thanks for that!

Hi Dan! I've been a huge fan of your work through The Bitmap Brothers. Speedball 2 inspired me to draw soooo much when I was 14, so did Chaos Engine. You're one of the finest character designers EVER! Browsing through your work here is an F***ing Dream! I ended up studying 3D CG Animation and Design thanks to seeing your work as a kid. I had to say thanks. I still play your games on the Amiga.

Cheeky question but have you or would you be doing any tutorials or lectures on your work? Specifically sprite/environment design as I feel your work from the 90's rivals Capcom's modern 2D efforts (SF3 for example).
Just a question as I know I'd be very interested in any tips, tricks and just general techniques you'd be willing to pass on. Thanks.
