Romania it would seem has an economy that is based around manufacturing and although that may not make for a rich country it does make for stability and a little like Ireland a few years back before they discovered the joys of extreme capitalism.
Britain, America and a great deal of the European countries have based their economies on greed and kept them going with financial stupidity and the great economic development of shopping and selling houses to each other for ever increasing prices until the bubble burst and all their economies are, for want of a better term.....fucked.
Romania has beautiful countryside and beautiful architecture that is unspoilt in a lot of cases. We have places like Gloucester where they thought it was a great idea to rip down a medieval city and build concrete and glass. A little unfair possibly but greed has it's limits and there are a lot of people who are getting a little tired of the money grabbers in this part of planet earth.
We are also heading to extreme surveillance which is pissing even more people off.
I hope that gives you an idea of why 200,000 British people a year are emigrating.
Sorry for the rant but I am at this moment still looking for somewhere else to live.
