# About me
My Swan Spectacles were a gift fromOkay, so I like to crochet and to sew my own clothes, but I'm the type of person who wants to do EVERYTHING! I try to draw, but I've never taken the time to get very good, I like to cook, but I don't have a real knack for it, and I'm attempting to learn to dance, though I haven't gotten around to taking lessons. So I guess I'm more a dreamer than a do-er.
And I'm always happy to answer questions or give advice, so feel free to slip me a note if you'd like!

Pickled ginger experiment! I don't think it will turn out, but it is only first try...

Not this time, I didn't have a peeler to make the slices thin enough so I had to do it with a knife. And/or the ginger was well picked. The "woody" parts of the ginger never softened enough to be good. Still eatable, but needs work. Now the simmering an open vanilla bean in the milk you are heating to make vanilla yogurt, THAT turned out great! Especially if you let it 'rest' in the fridge a full 24 hours after you put it in the fridge...
