dual boot (kung PC ka). secondary OS lang muna. laruin mo muna. malay mo may biglang dumating na mga drivers para sa triple-m. minsan magugulat ka na lang meronng sira ulo na naka setup ng ganun sa linux. tingnan ko nga anong dala ng karmic eh. sa experience ko, ang laki ng diperensya ng linux at windows. kung mac naman, hardware ang issue...unless marami ka contact sa binindo..

Alrighty, go to Compiz Fusion settings. Go to the opacity settings and creat a new entry called dock and set the value to a number of your choice for the transparency level. For the menus, creat 2 new entries, 1 is called dropdownmenu (all one word), and the other is popupmenu. set both values to a number of your choice for the transparency level. There you go!

Come on bro, my skills are no better, perhaps even less than yours and most deviants here, It's just that I enjoy doing this, and fills out my entire day. In terms of skinning, xp is still the best. Linux/Ubuntu however I think is a better OS. I'm just starting with Linux so am not yet familiar with the ins and outs, although I can already see the potential in terms of flexibility.

Same here mate. I'm not carried away by all these 'new' stuff. And like Vista, it seems that 7 is also not easily skinned. Just more eye candy and shortcuts to launch apps, if nothing else.
Regarding XP flexibility, I even played around with Talisman (on top of Explorer). Not for noobs however. Also great for skinning. Sometime in the near future maybe...

sorry about that, but no, I don't have vista. A lot of people have been been looking for WB or VS but sadly, Vista is actually not skinning-friendly.
You can try 'Leopard V' by mrsste. I think one of the better Leopard WB skins for Vista...
