No problem, I love the Aurora images!
I have a few images I've taken of them but they're certainly not as bright as you'd see in Norway.

I just wanted to say that I agree with what you said in your thread.
I have been making plushies and taking commissions for them for nearly 10 years, and it irritates me every time I see someone post in the Job Offers forum wanting something elaborate done for 30 bucks or somewhere along those lines.
What irritates me even more is when half a dozen or so plushie artists respond to ads like those and say things like "Oh, I can do that for $15!" or "Oh, don't worry about paying me. I just want the experience". It is because of attitudes like this that so many people out there have a false idea as to the actual value of the work they want to have done.
I'm not trying to say that these artists should charge a "minimum" amount for their work, per se, but they do need to keep in mind that their actions do affect the rest of us and make it harder for people to take us seriously.
I recall one particular individual that stopped by my artist alley table at a convention last year. I had the nyan cat plushie in my gallery on display at my table. They asked me if they could buy it for $10.00. -_-
It took me nearly 14 hours to make it and $30.00 in supplies. I am charging $100.00 plus shipping for it. That means whenever it sells, I would be receiving compensation on the supplies and making $5.00 an hour off of it.
I actually had someone tell me to my face one time that I don't even deserve minimum wage and that I am "ripping people off" with my work. Art is a luxury, not a necessity. With that in mind, how could I possibly be ripping people off? It's my work. I can charge whatever I want for it. It's not like I am depriving people of something they need in order to survive.
I am seriously appalled by some of the responses you received in that thread. We don't have to sit around and accept things the way they are. We can take action and works towards educating artists and clients alike. There will always be people that want to "sit in the front row for a dime", as one person put it, but we can still try to reduce the number of people with that kind of attitude, right?
