that was quick!
I am waiting for the pics we get at the end of class. I definitely love being painted and feeling the difference, and last week me and my friend painted an entire school of wannabe pirates. we had a minute and a half per child so we stuck with small quick designs. I got really good at dolphins, sharks, beards, scrapes (just quick bloody slashes) and skulls. It was a blast! luckily the school is small - there were about 75 kids and the teachers & parents helping out with the other activities. bruises are cool to make, too. and so simple.
Have to cook up a witch design and something scary for tomorrow's class

I'm watching my garden grow.

And working in it.
And designing plans for how I want it to become.
And lots of family visits.
And an exam a week from saturday - that I should work harder at than I have been.
And the kids have a holiday week this week, that always turns life upside down.

In summary - things are fine. Exciting, upside down and a tad stressful here and there, but on the whole very good.

How about you? still busy I guess, I am hoping with good things.

I think we should always try to remember those who pay the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. It was a piece I had written a few years ago as a reaction to our own Rememberance Day. Somehow it felt right to post it here in light of what is happening in the world today. There are so many young men and women who will never see their homeland again, and it was a way of showing respect to them.
