Hey there Ms. Evilabs - whatsup?
I feel like writing some words, more like spewing garbled mush than anything I'd call a poem, but words for a purpose nonetheless.
What would you recommend?

Hahaha I'm flattered you'd ask me...
I would consider doig a not-so-automatic automatic writing exercise - get everything out on a page for ten minutes for a week, do not reread what you've written, and then go back through the entries and slice it up, find what you feel to be usable in the content. Then, use that as fodder for your purposeful garbled mush.
OR you could always go outside in the sunshine with a pad and paper and write about the world going by.

Hmm, yes, I like the automatic writing thing - I've done that before but only ever with a specific theme in mind - might be interesting to just see what comes out
Writing about the world going by might be really funny, especially in a shopping centre - might get punched out for laughing at people while amusing myself with my own thoughts though

this is captivating writing.
It's been a drag seeing so many good ideas and deep, complicated feelings mangled by a lot of poets trying to accomplish the polished, coherent presentations you pull off so well.
You've given me motivation to start doing more reading here on DA ~it's a refreshing wake up for me.

eh well I'm sure you heard about Jen and I splitting up, things have been a bit of a mixed bag really. Got some amazingly awesome friends and have had some really good times but I donno, been down and stuff as well which has sucked. Been doing a lot of music stuff of late, writing a lot of material and doing loads of jam sessions with differant sorts of musicians.
How about you? Any big developments?
