yep, I was an animator for Primal and for Ark I animated almost all of the creatures.

Just wanted to say that your work is amazing. The dinosaur animations in Primal Carnage are among the best I've ever seen. Such smooth and believe-able walk cycles. It was a real pleasure to play that game. I've played and loved ARK as well, although the visual quality doesn't seem to be quite the same.

thanks. Yeah, with Ark speed is the most important thing, we pump out 4 full character sets each month, sometimes more! Primal had a lot more time for polish.

Cool. I can't wait to see them. I'm messing around with twitter and a couple things. Seeing how social networking and all that jazz works. I'll definitely try to spread the word when you post them. It's a bummer you don't live closer. I'd bug you all the time to see how you do the animation and zbrush stuff. I really love the 3d sculpting.

I've been checking out your 3D models and I am very impressed! Out of curiosity, what modeling program(s) do you use, and do you use any sculpting programs to get the finer details in the models?

I generally use 3Ds Max and zBrush for modeling. Photoshop and zBrush for texturing and Max for rigging and animating (even though I like maya for animating more, I just don't know how to rig in it yet ).

I was going to guess as much. I know next to nothing of rigging in Maya, I was able to make a tube wiggle once.
