Eviltom, I was wondering what your specific challenge(s) to real Tom is? Clearly you have something in mind of what he shouldn't be doing, but what major action(s) is it that you want him to cease? Not saying it is realistic (probable to cause a worthwhile effect) to challenge Tom, stubborn as he is, but I'm not talking about likelihood, just possibility. If you haven't challenged him, why is that? If you have, what are they?

I just love the idea that he was willing to ditch the one site with the largest collection of asspatte---errr... FANS just because it was the one site that allowed the most amount of communication between people and Regular Tom.
Twitter limits all responses to 140 characters (meaning no long discussion of how awful Regular Tom could be), Facebook is easy to ignore since all it does is repost his Tweets, and Patreon has no discussion capabilities what-so-ever.
In other words: he's willing to retreat to a community with 2% of the fanbase (Twitter's ~1250 followers to dA's ~56,000) only because it allow him to control the discussion about him.
Of course, the problem ended up being that Regular Tom's awful attitude keeps following him around, and he creates his own problems. He thinks that it's the websites that causes him problems, but it's really just him creating the problems. Like with Patreon; if people REALLY loved the artist they're patronizing, they wouldn't dangle a dollar in front of the artist just to get access to their art, only to rescind their dollar offer. No, they'd actually pay AND pay more than $1 to support them. Regular Tom hasn't done anything to make his fans want to pay more than $1, and keeps doing everything to make his haters want to mess with him. The solution to his problems is in his hands, and yet he refuses to accept responsibility for any of it.
