Well... I'm now open to any takers who wants to continue with the fanfic.... Currently no volunteers at the moment. It's too difficult to chase after all the people that said they were interested but ended up dragging it for weeks to months... So I'm changing the system to any volunteers or any takers, do it if the slot is free.

That's just disheartening. I'm so sorry things have ended up this way.
I hope that I've been alright in following up in my throws at the fanfic, and so if it's okay with you I would be honoured to volunteer again.
Maybe we should change the fanfic settings around so that people will have to be more final about offering? Perhaps we should try and establish different rules or format the fanfic to generate different ideas?
Maybe some of our members feel that the fanfic isn't something they want to contribute to? People are so frustrating sometimes, you're so patient XD

Actually... The problem is not about the methods that we could think of... Cos at the end of the day, we can't possibly please everyone with a standard method that "we think" it'll work out for everyone, or to the majorities.

The problem lies with responsibilities and timing, some people volunteered but they never take into consideration if they might have time for it. And when it comes to priorities, reality always comes first. To work on a collab fanfic within a certain period of time, to them may be restraining, to others it is a drag.

How'd you think of a writer who posts his/her page six months later, or comes back to you six months later telling you that he/she could not make it, haven't even start a page, etc. (Hey, it's no joke. I actually got that as his/her answer). Or the person, procrastinated for two week and realized his/her turn was dued --- Being responsible, he/she simply took half a day to type a crappy last minute fanfic out?

The only thing that would ever worked out is; The passion and determination to do something. Not because you're pushed to do it but because you wanted to.

For these whole time, I feel that writing a collab-fic, or fanart-comic, has become like a routine. To make things worse, nagging people to finish within deadline, listening to the same repeated excuses from them, has become a mundane routine for me. Man... It's so draining to maintain this Group! I'm human too, not a robot.

Frankly speaking, I've already let my hands down doing anything for this Group like, 2~3-years from now? I ain't even sure if this Group is a dead group with dead fishes or is there still "live" ones swimming around... *sigh*

I feel like saying... "Don't give empty promises if you can't keep them."

But oh well, you did surprise me out of nowhere asking about the fanfic hahas~ I thought it should be forgotten by now aniwaez... Or probably you have caught my shadow browsing through your page and remembered this unfortunate Group... But well, I'm putting more focus on my going-to-be 2yrs old RP group now which gives me a little hope to run... Though passionate members are still a problem anywhere in this wrenched world. lols~

I see what you are saying. I held a little too much optimism in hopes that people had some fire left in them, but the results show themselves.
I am sympathetic to your plight, god it must have been the most frustrating thing to chase people week after week after week. You put a lot of effort into the group, and I am sad to see it go.

I've actually been routinely checking my DA to see if I got any messages about continuing the fanfic, and when I noticed your comment was surprised it had no mention of it. It seems that the idea has indeed died out. Tragic... XD
That's a nice change of pace, an Rp group. I'm glad at least they have held more passionate members!

You can't really escape from the lazy group watchers no matter where you go. It's a pity really.

hahas... Some people joined cos they think "It is fun" but doesn't consider about being productive in their contribution.

However, RP forum may still face such as issue similar to a Group cos when members chose not to be responsive or reply on time, or even to inform the admin he/she can't post becos of whatever bs reason. And I still get into the mundane routine of 'reminding' the members to post cos it is their turn... =_=

i'm not getting much fruitfulness in a revamped fan-based RP section (mainly KH & FinalFantasy) that was suppose to open soon... With two new members that joined but not enthu to quickly create their characters' profiles... Man... I feel so lazy to do these pushing... If I have to push them to create their characters, it also means there is a high chance I have to push them for posts as well.
