Hear me out, you're a bit extreme and ranting, and I like that random new artists may get fame they otherwise wouldn't have, but:

Hmmm, I also agree, but I like the front page even though there are a lot of artists on it who are already popular.
However, I don't like it when stupid things are up there. Like ponies and porn. >:I
There should be an option for great artists who really do need more watchers. I know there are some people out there who spend their time promoting other people's art, though, and my hat goes off to them.

it's not that, there has been a glitch with dA recently that has totally messed up the front page, if you click on 24 hours in popular, I can guarantee you that there will be one deservant picture at the top and then crappy ones or half porn images. Scroll down really far and then you find the more popular ones with more faves and in a shorter time since uploaded. The ones that go up the top look like they are from the newest section.
Also when you ask this person why teh hell they are on dA, it's to help spread the word, a lot of people may like it like the ones who are now getting on teh front page but they are ones who don't deserve it and don't put any effort into their art works at all!!!
