I was (and still am) playing Awakening as well. I got bored one day and decided, 'Hey! I haven't seen all the support conversations/confession images yet' so I've been laying around for hours trying to get them all.
Almost done with completing male Avatar's convos; after that I'm going to start another file eventually to get the rest of Female avatar's (I've already played a run with a female avatar on a different file but I threw her at Kellam immediately because Kellam is great and deserves his name in history)

my actual canon endgames I'm aiming to get S supports are Sully/Stahl, Ricken/Lissa, Gaius/Maribelle, Virion/Cherche, Frederick/Sumia, Chrom/Olivia, male!MU/Lucina, Libra/Miriel, Henry/Tharja, Lon'qu/Panne and Donnel/Nowi /o/ I actually love all of the supports between these guys and also blonde Laurent is hilarious..as is ginger Brady

buuut the other supports I totally read into as romantic were Henry/Ricken (MAHOU SHOTAS), Maribelle/Lissa, Virion/Libra as onesided "why is it that I, a straight man...", Gaius/Lon'qu, Inigo/Gerome and of course male!MU/Chrom are all great
I also got Morgan and Inigo married but it was Lucina!Morgan and Chrom!Inigo SO HE BASICALLY GOT A PITY DATE OUT OF HIS NIECE IT WAS GREAT

I really like Frederick and Sully as gr8 bros also, and Olivia's supports with pretty much everyone are adorable
....but I got Chrom married to Sumia once too and I couldn't take it asdfghj AFTER THE SIXTH PIE I REALISED I LOVED YOU, SUMIA :II

I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH
Like there isn't a single character or pairing I don't like. I mean some of them are more or less convicing than others, but technically they're all (potentially) canon so it's fun to imagine how they all end up working out.
And the game itself leaves a lot of room for speculating and imagining what goes on between and after the battles (wow that sounds more suggestive than I intended)
And the weird time traveling shenanigans give a perfect excuse to muse about the other potential timelines
and there...there is just no end to the infinite potential of headcanons here aghgh

In the male file I'm in the process of bringing all pairs right up to S, so that I can see and catalogue them all in one file.
There are so many of them...and then I have to go train the parents and get skills...and then I have to get every single pair's kid supports...and then F!Morgan supports...I fear there will never come a day when I have 100% Support completion.
and then the female file has everyone paired up already so I can go ahead and mess around with the kiddies' S supports.
Poor Stahl ended up forever alone in this one though because I was like 'oh, I don't need TWO cavaliers .o.' in the beginning of the game and so I decided to use Sully for this round, and by Endgame when I started BRIDE TRAINING (aka. getting mother units to learn Galeforce + raising Supports) Stahl was too weak to keep up.
I'm probably going to have to start some more files beyond that though to get all of Chrom's marriages and the respective kids' supports too :I So far I've got Olivia and Sumia and caught a glimpse of Sully's; I was trying to get Olivia but failed the first try. NOT ENOUGH DANCING

Fun fact: I was actually planning for Kellam/F!MU from even before I got the game, because I wanted to see how ridiculous their interaction would be if I chose the mute option.
That was actually one of my biggest reasons in getting Awakening, because when it initially released in Japan, people were posting videos of Supports on Niconico but no one would post mute MU and Kellam supports (or really much of Kellam supports haha) so I was like, "i'VE GOT TO SEE THIS"
BUT SADLY THE ENGLISH GAME TOOK OUT THE MUTE MY UNIT. I mean, it does make things pretty confusing but I still wanted to see the dialogue changes from the mute option.
But Kellam/F!MU became a thing nonetheless.
They make a nice, mob/NPC-like family with M!Morgan.

and I have somewhat(?) distinct characters for each (well, just two at this point) of my MUs too so that makes shipping the MUs is a bit more complicated for me |D
I'll be making more MUs in the future, surely, like specifically for Chrom/F!MU and other pairs.
But yes Mier is my male MU, and Espel is my female MU, and I like imagining that they're siblings, so I have the other as a hired unit in their respective files.
I have stupid headcanons on how they respectively join the Ylissean forces in either case, what they've been doing the whole time before joining, how they fit into the army, and how they interact with their now-amnesiac sister/brother (man this seperated siblings shit is so cliche but i can't help it).
And then I have AU/timeline headcanons where the siblings never meet and go about their own lives, or one of them is on the Plegian side, or one of them is dead and long gone, or whatever I can think of.
This whole siblings thing was something I was musing about before getting the game, too- mute Espel and her little bro Mier.
Except that Mier turned out to be bulky in the end instead of shota boy as originally thought. And Espel not-so-mute.
...I have far too many headcanons for my MUs it's kind of terrible.

Espel is of course paired with Kellam, and with Mier I'm still pondering over how to go about pairing him.
While my personal choice of waifu would be Miriel, for Mier as a character I'm debating between Lissa, Maribelle, Panne, and Sully.
I really like silver-haired Kjelle and red-head Morgan so Sully is a top contender right now.
But fluffy bunny taguel family is also very tempting...
Though, I might just end up throwing him at Aversa or Anna because I don't want to steal one of the main girls and make another sorry fella go single in this file (although I guess that's inevitable; at least one male unit is going to be forever alone unless Chrom marries a village girl).
Aversa is more so a character/storyline choice; Anna is mostly for red-head Morgan.

In terms of my OTPs though, I tend to think of it more as 'Hey! What sort of family do they make?' over just couples.
Like I didn't really think much of Henry/Miriel at first, but I was completely convinced when Laurent's supports came around.
They make such an interesting family that they're conceivably my favorite pairing right now.
Although really Henry goes well with anyone and is #1 Dad-man-child regardless so it might just be that.
BUT COME ON ONLY HENRY WOULD COOCHYCOO LAURENT WITHOUT ANOTHER THOUGHT
Most of the other Laurent fathers felt a bit strange doing that so Henry kind of solidified the whole pairing in my mind :IIII
I also really like Donnel/Panne, Stahl/Cordelia, Lon'qu/Nowi (loliqu), Gaius/Maribelle, Ricken/Lissa, Frederick/Tharja, and Gregor/Cherche.
and for shits and giggles there's also Libra/Cordelia because it would appear to be glorious and beautiful yuri to the untrained eye.
Blond Severa is also great in reinforcing the whole 'blond-twintail-tsundere' stereotype, and having such a wonderful and beautiful pair of parents would probably further her inferiority complex wahahaha

and then this isn't a pairing, but there's Donnel, Kellam, and Stahl that make the common-citizen trio, and I like the three of them a lot as a group. Probably my favorite characters overall, these three. Though I like Henry a lot too. And all the kids. And Miriel. And Olivia. And Gregor. And
...okay I like everyone I will stop rambling now

making timelines especially for the two year gap is so fun, I have everything planned out as I play and like to mock up support conversations for the characters in their free time..kinda like the barracks conversations but obviously less vague..
BUT YEAH basically every ship is canon and I love it a lot
yet there are still fights on who is Chrom's "canon" wife :II
my personal favourite is Sumia but I love chrom!Inigo a lot so I usually pair him with Olivia bc of that hhh

oh man I can't wrap my head around class and skills and passing them onto children sdfghj I just pair together who I like and concentrate on raising the units I like, I'm pretty aesthetic about this game which is terrible but I play on classic mode so there's that :II

the kid's S supports are some of my favourites because they all come from this horrible future and here they have a chance to rectify it and hdhfhfhshhds finding strength in each other y'know? .o.
Sully/Stahl is kinda one of my OTPs and in any of my story runs (where I just play through on my own headcanons) I pretty much can't not get them together because CAIN AND ABEL BUT MARRIED...........
..but on a gameplay point of view yeah Sully tends to be better stat-wise than Stahl anyway so :II

I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED THERE WAS NO MUTE IN THE ENGLISH VERSION I read up that it was a thing and had a perfect idea for mute shota dark mage MU probably being best bros with Henry but nope that didn't happen :II

As for your MUs you're literally perfect asdfghjk I just work on what's there aha..I usually call them Robin regardless and like to think they're AU mirrors of each other..it's actually really interesting to play about with gender too, because in an AU who's to say we can't have Queen Chrom and the Prince Lissa :II
I do have headcanons for everyone but sadly the MU is one of my least developed except for their interactions with the others...I would like to try your AU idea though with an OC MU now /o/

I have Libra as Laurent's father right now just because the supports between him and Miriel are amazing (please tell me you've seen them), and Vaike married to Cordelia so technically blonde Severa is a thing for me too..

It is the most perfect fodder for headcanons :III Probably because it's easier imagining the characters doing mundane things in peace-time as opposed to marching/battling/doing army stuff.
and oh man I do the exact same thing with the mock support conversations.

Yeah, Prince Inigo is probably my favorite of Lucina's potential siblings (as far as I've seen anyways)
Although I did laugh a little at Chrom and Olivia's 'whirl-wind romance' thing because it seemed so sudden and all she did in-game was dance for him a couple times wahaha
Sometimes I wish Cordelia was also on the Chrom's Bride list just for a Princess Severa or genetically-ensured-flatness Lucina...but Corderlia is fated to be that unrequited-love stock character so NO CHANCE except in AUs
It's a bit strange that people would fight over the 'canon wife' stuff though, since it's already a game with so many options for shipping :U

I tend to think in terms of aesthetics as well (HAIRCOLORS), but I'm also an opportunist so I try to pass on useful gender-specific skills (well, practically just Galeforce or Counter ahaha) if the chance is out there.

I have trouble shipping them because I LIKE ALL THE SHIPS
and I love how in practically all of her S supports Nah is so aggressive? forward? in hunting down her man.
But yeah it's so great watching them interact; the hints at their childhood in some of them also brings to wonder how long they've all known each other. The exact chain of events that lead to the Ruined Future the kids come from is kinda vague throughout the game, since things have been changed from that initial route/timeline in the main-game's timeline, so all of their little hints of the past can be used to glean whatever small tidbit of information about that otherwise unseen timeline.
and also I just completed Sully/Stahl's S support yesterday and I do agree THEY MAKE QUITE A SHIP

I would have gone through with the mute Espel setting too, but I was quickly seduced by Miyuki Sawashiro's cutey voice at the avatar-making stage and now Espel speaks thus :I

and I'm starting to think the tendency towards characterizing the MUs might be a Japanese-voice thing, since their dialogue style- at least in terms of the sound bites -changes according to the voice you choose, and I typically play with the Japanese voices on. Each voice seems like a separate type of character, so my brain kind of naturally recognizes them as such.
The English MU voices don't seem to have so clear a distinction because it's primarily tonal/enunciation differences.
Along with that, official Robin/Reflet (the generalized canon one like in the Drama CDs and now Smash bros) and original MUs seem to register as separate characters (or rather separate versions of the character?) in my brain, just filling the same role/title. So I have headcanons for Robin/Reflet, as well as headcanons for my current MUs Mier and Espel (since they're kind of a set), but they're filed away in different mental folders. As I make more MUs they'll go in their own folders, as well .o. I've already got a few planned as it is hohoho
And on that note, it's entirely possible to recreate Morgans in the avatar creator to an extent, so there could be a whole AU on that too.

And ahhh Gender-bend AUs! I'm actually kind of surprised at myself that I hadn't considered that before- that's another thing to explore in the wonderful world of Awakening AUs.
I...I actually really want to see a Queen Chrom now :III

and yes I have seen Libra/Miriel supports ohoho
Vaike/Cordelia is really good too, especially with the whole (mostly) one-sided rival dynamic of Vaike and Chrom in mind.
Ahhhh with every day I complete another batch of supports I see more and more shipping possibilities *n*

Future Past is definitely a must-see, storyline wise. And the special dialogue between the kiddies and parents is typically HEART WRENCHING.
But it's also refreshing because the Father units get unique dialogue with their kids as opposed to the generalized supports in the main game, so it gives some (well, still vague) insight on how specific parent/child relationships compare and contrast from one another.
That, and it gives rise to it's own AU and aghgh leaves so much to be imagined.
I'm kind of sad they didn't incorporate it (or really any sort of Ruined Future campaign) into the main game though, because that would have been the raddest thing ever- even if it was just in the form of flashbacks or something of Lucina and the gang before they traveled over time (but I guess that's what Drama CD 3 is for)

and Scramble pack is great if you're hankering to see special dialogue between:
 - same-gender Units with supports (Harvest)
 - Units that don't typically have supports + bathing suit shenanigans (Summer)
 - same-gender child Units with supports + yukata/onsen shenanigans (Hot Spring)
Summer and Hot Spring also have unique CGs for the top two Male and Female units of each generation from the Japanese popularity poll .o.

At any rate, you could probably find all the DLC dialogue online if you're curious wahaha

I'D ACTUALLY READ SOME OF THE SUPPORTS FROM SCRAMBLE WITHOUT REALISING because I realised some of the ones I'd seen like the Lucina/Severa and Lon'qu/Gaius weren't in the main game so I was confused but then I realised they were in the dlc |D

the two year gap is especially important I think for building up Chrom, Lissa, the MU and whoever Chrom's wife is because of how quickly they'd have to adapt to having no Exalt, Chrom taking over that title etc. Frederick and the other Shepherds too, but mostly those four I think..though for more domestic headcanons for other characters rather than character development, I love it /o/

Princess Severa isn't something I ever considered actually asdfghjk she'd work really well as Lucina's sister though I think as well..I read into their supports as almost romantic so a sibling relationship would bridge that platonic-romantic gap and make for the perfect bond between them .o.
but Inigo as prince is honestly my favourite..haven't tried Kjelle yet though, but Cynthia is cute

I actually switch between the voices! there's a few english VAs in the cast I really like (mostly the ones who were in Tales games like the Robin voice 1 was Richard and Chrom is actually english Alvin) but the same runs for Japanese (Henry..) so I usually just switch it up depending on my mood!! though I do agree about the MU voices, I'll probably go into my next run trying out the OC MU thing because it does sound really fun
I'm just having fan art issues where I want to draw so much FE:A shit based on supports and headcanons but I CANNOT

AAA GOOD I AM GLAD VERY GLAD!! i'm not that hyped myself just yet because hoenn isn't a particular favourite of mine but once we get some screenshots and revamped art of the protags and leaders/e4 etc. I WILL JOIN THE HYPE!!

ah yeah you haven't missed much then wwww we got two more characters, another tenzoku called Lyla?? I think, her name is written ライラ　so
and another guy WHO LOOKS LIKE A COWBOY AND IS THE RESIDENT OJISAN he's called Dezel /o/
I think there's gonna be a lot revealed at Talesfes though so :II I'm as hyped for this as you are for ORAS probably aha |D

okay I just went and looked them up and I LOVE THEIR DESIGNS
Lyla is a cutey woah Her costume is great
and Dezel seems somewhat unorthodox for a typical Tales party member (he is a party member right) but that makes him COOL
is he going to be another one of those betraying old men
I am liking how the Zestiria party is shaping up *m*

yeah Dezel seems really strange to me as well but that just makes him even more interesting really /o/ Slay and Alicia are the only other two humans we've seen so far so it's interesting to think just what kind of role humans play in this world..also that there are four tenzoku who only Slay can apparently see in the party is going to be fun |D

// he's also voiced by Ono Daisuke and tbh I was waiting for him to appear in a Tales game given that he's pretty prolific \o\

Oh man Slay is going to look crazy talking to his invisible tenzoku buddies |D So that means (at least as far as we know now) no other characters can even hear/see/sense the tenzoku? I wonder how the skits and stuff are going to fly with that.

I'd imagine though that at some point in the storyline the other party members would become able to see them
...Although it'd be hilarious if they played through with Slay being the only one able to see them throughout the whole game.

and he hasn't before? omo That's actually quite surprising, I'd have thought he'd been in one Tales game or two, even as a minor character.

no see this is why I'm so excited because Slay is gonna meet Alicia and then out of nowhere Mikulio, Edna and Lyla are just gonna appear
there's already that screenshot of Mikulio right up against Alicia's face looking like he's judging her because she can't see him I can't wait to see this
they've always gone with the Summon Spirits being visible to everyone not just the summoners/Milla before so with these guys being totally invisible, even if it is only temporary in the game I really can't wait :L

he may have done very minor, uncredited voicing in the past but he's never had even a somewhat major NPC role so that's why I was surprised! I know a lot of other really famous seiyuu have been in Tales games but usually as protags, though Slay with Ono Daisuke's voice would be so strange...|D

I think I had a pretty good birthday! I went home for the weekend, and went to eat with my family. There was delicious cheesecake to be had.
and the present did arrive indeed! Now I have a bunch of Tales figurines in my room back home hohoho
Strange thing too, my sister gave me a spare Jude from her Nendroid petite set that arrived (I'm pretty sure it's the same ones that you took silly pictures of a while back), so my birthday was filled with little Tales things.
ALSO I LIKED THE LITTLE GLOOPY-FACE DOODLE ON THE CARD IT MADE ME SMILE

but aa yes good it sounds like you had fun~ and yess the Nendoroid Petits are actually my favourite set; I'll try and pick you up a Milla somewhere (they aren't that expensive) so you can do dumb things with them too, like remove the heads :I the ones I got you, the Petit Chara, there's actually a second box just been released that I'm waiting on arriving, there's an Elle in it and she has a little Lulu on her stand asdfghj

I'M SO SORRY THAT CARD WAS SO PLAIN THOUGH I SWEAR I GET TOO INTO TRADITIONAL-BASED WORK SO I WOULD HAVE SPENT A MONTH ON IT IF I HADN'T STOPPED THERE :II

Elle and Lulu...is a one-two punch of cuteness to the face *A* Who else is in that second set? I know that the guys from the set that you got me are the Swordspeople, so does this second box have a theme? .o.

the second set iss Kyle, Reala, Flynn, Yuri (runaway knight outfit), Ludger, Elle/Lulu and Jude is the secret one~ there's no obvious theme here (Kyle/Reala and Yuri/Flynn count as couples I guess and now there's a Jude to match the first box's Milla but I really don't know to be honest) I was hoping for a second swordspeople set with hopes we'd get Lloyd, Spada, Asbel, Richard, Asch and a few others but honestly I'm just really happy with Flynn and Jude~ even though they haven't arrived yet asdfg SAL is so slow ;w;

I wish they were better at filtering their ads, I've gotten so many virus scares from here it's frustrating.
and I might do that after the bulk of my work is done for this week/next week! o3o I think I might have unfinished doodles sitting around in my files, too...
Yeah, that sounds like a AwesomeDuo type set, since each character has a counterpart/related character of some kind (including Jude with the Milla from the other box). The fact that there's Ludger and Elle/Lulu makes me happy and also a little sad and ALL THINGS. Xillia 2's storyline left me with so much feels, it's cruel.
And maybe they'll be in the next box! .o. Or some of them. I really hope they continue with the boxes so that they can dish out all the Tales of characters in the end. That'd make quite a collection.

OH HAVE YOU PLAYED XILLIA 2 NOW? you hadn't last time we spoke about it and asdfghg isn't it an awful, awful game? well it did give us more JuMilla stuff and I loved a lot of the alternate timelines (Wingul becoming king is a hilarious thought for me I'm sorry) but the endings oh my god Ludger and Elle and I even loved Julius eventually asdfgh ;; TELL ME YOUR FEELS
the little Megahouse boxes are adorable and actually relatively affordable! my second box was only 5130yen on AmiAmi so compared to say, the Tales of Friends straps or the Nendoroids/Kyun Charas that's not bad~ owo/

they do say girls have nicer handwriting than guys BUT I WAS SO SURE MY HANDWRITING WASN'T A GIVEAWAY ;;

Yeah, usually instead I just browse the https version of dA; that clears out all the ads/unsecure content so it's pretty useful...BUT whenever I click a link it returns to the http version so I have to deliberately add the s to the url every time I change pages ffff

Yeah, that's actually quite a steal. Imported stuff can be so expensive in bulk though, which saddens me greatly. Sometimes I wish I could just go to Japan to BUY ALL THE NICE THINGS and bring them home :II
