Favorite movies: I watch a lot, so basically my favorite is what ever good movie I just watched.Favorite TV shows: I really like Supernatural, Btvs, Angel, Dollhouse, United States of Tara, Nurse Jackie, and Dexter. This is a very abreiviated list, so see above.
Favorite bands / musical artists: Just about anything from the 60's through the 90's, and a select few from today.
Favorite books: See fav. Movies, but currently I'm reading A Song Of Ice And Fire, which I started before the HBO series was even thought of, and then got distracted, as I am wont to do.
Favorite writers: See Fav. Movies: but I like Terry Pratchet, Christopher Moore, Jim Butcher, Mercedes Lackey, etc.
Favorite games: To vast to name.
Favorite gaming platform: Xbox 360, Kinect, and PC
# About me
I like to read. A lot. I have a very active imagination, and would love to be able to draw, but I have absolutely no natural talent. Oh well. I do like to look at the pretty pictures though, so I joined to be able to do that.

And thanks for the return watch (even though it will likely be mute for a good while, until I finally get off my butt and do something worth posting). Just curious, why the county fair, but not the Balloon Races? Would they not let you in, or something?

I didn't even know there were going to be balloon races until I drove by and saw the carnival all set up. I'm new to doing this sort o thing and mostly stumble into doing the events when ever I am lucky enough to find one and can figure out who the promoter or organizer is. I sent a slew of emails to fairs in nearby counties, but Wapello was the only one that bothered to reply! If you know about more nearby events, I could use the help!!!

Well, there's the Lake Red Rock balloon races July 13th-15th. Other than that, I don't know. We're going to be in Wisconsin, so I don't really know about any others.
