Hello!
I was born in Boulder, CO in the 1980s. There I struggled with public education, where I was treated as a "special" kid. Nearly failing, I begged mom and dad to send me back to private education, luckily I made it into it. There I was poor secretly and bullied intensely. I was a decent student who excelled in reading and writing, but I was always so jealous of the kids who were great artists. I made it through high school and then ended up in film school. In film school I was encouraged to take more photographs, read and write more. Since after all great films come from great stories. I wasn't really made to be a film maker, so I dropped out to be a waitress shortly after being encouraged to be an artist; something I thought I could never do. A few years past and I had a horrible mental health disaster, which I imagine more people than I'd feel comfortable with have read about in shock and horror. On a hunch, I went back to school to reduce stress by changing my life around. Now I'm about to graduate from college with a BFA in digital art. Right now I'm in poverty and fearing for my future. I feel out of place as an artist and untrained as a writer, but anyway I bet you heard this story. It is not an easy one to live with, but it is my own and it makes me who I am today.
