Maybe you're heard of A Game of Thrones, which is the title of the 1st books? HBO is making it into a series, to premiere in April (and I can't wait, there's a ton of good actors in it, it's going to be awesome!)

It's a fantasy series written by George R.R. Martin. It's heavily influenced by the Wars of the Roses in England, and the fantasy element isn't very strong - as in the Wheel - even though it's there, especially after the 1st book. It's an amazing series, full of intrigue and battles and more intrigue.

Only downside is that it's not finished yet, there's another 3 books to go, and the author seems to be really taking his time. Other than that, I heartily recommend it!

I will surely keep it in mind! However, I think I'll wait until the series is done before I even start. It's torture waiting for the WoT books, and if I like that series even half as much as I like WoT then I'll be in trouble lol

yep, I'd say it is just as awesome as the Wheel, so it's probably better to wait - I can tell you it's *very* frustrating having to wait for the next book, at the point the story's currently at.

Or you could watch the series once it comes out, though I imagine there will be changes - which is of course understandable when you make a book-to-screen adaptation.

Boys girls or a combo of both? Boys are so needy but more loving, and girls are more crabby yet not underfoot no matter where you go. lol Just got a kitten that crawls up my leg if i walk out of the room without it. painfully cute.

We think they should be a combo, because we'll adopt them and we don't know who we will find to adopt; and also because we already choose some of the names, and they're both male and female. Two of them will be Starsky and Hutch lol

Very nice! XD Everyone makes fun of my cat because he's a boy named Twilight... Well, first of all, he was named BEFORE the obvious reference... and well, as to why his name is so feminine.... I can only claim that I received him from a friend who has an odd naming habit for her animals.. Hence her python named "Fido"... Alas, my boyfriend, unable to bare the girlish-ness of calling my cat Twilight has renamed him Twizzle... Not really sure how it worked, but my cat comes running everytime we call that name (probably from relief of not being so girly anymore)
