# About me
I have always loved to draw, but it has just been recently that my Husband has encouraged me to keep trying to become the artist I've always dreamed of becoming. I only took one art class in High School so I don't have much training, but I'm finally starting to feel more comfortable with what I'm doing and I'm enjoying the process of growing in my ability to see the world differently.

I haven't seen you in a while, but I've been thinking of your Disney-DC and Disney Marvel characters.

Hey Lithium! Sorry I haven't been quite so active, things were just really crazy here for a while with visitors and things.
I actually have been thinking of drawing some more of them, I'm just trying to think of some more good combos of characters. If you have any ideas, let me know.
I'm toying with the idea of doing Disney Villains as Comic villains as well, but I haven't made any official decisions yet.

Ideas Ideas, I have lots of ideas. Or I could have lots of ideas. I tried doing a drawing of Princess Aurora with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang -- I'll have to scan that one in someday.
Of course, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was written by the same guy who wrote the James Bond novels, so you could do the Disney princesses as Bond girls... (I can see James Bond and Belle together...)

Or if you really want some fun ideas to play with, you could merge the Disney princesses with the amalgam characters ([link] ), who themselves are mergers of DC and Marvel characters (for example, Wonder Woman and Storm were merged together into Amazon, who could then be merged with Cinderella.

I find coming up with ideas to be easy. I have literally boxes full of ideas. In fact, one thing I've done is write a bunch of drawing ideas on index cards so I can pull one at random when I need an idea.
One good help I've found is to go to this site to pick a random word and use that in a drawing. Like if I want to draw a character, I might choose a random verb and draw the character doing that. I did a 20 picture series recently using that tactic, and I think I came up with some interesting things I would not have.
