How do you cut your hair?
I can cut my friend's hair easily but I really struggle when cutting my own.
I cut my hair myself once and I really didn't like how it turned out, so I'm super scared to do it again. xD

it's just one of those natural talent things you don't know you have
like three years ago i got my first bad haircut, i cried in the hairdresser's chair
so then i got home, cut my own hair for the first time
and never went to a hairdresser again
what exactly do you have trouble with, with cutting your own hair?

I think i have trouble with giving myself all sorts of different layers. I dunno how to explain it, like, I can thin it out but then it's just a thinner chunk of hair, I haven't really changed the shape.
I think another part of it is just that I'm super scared I'll mess it up.
Any tips would be appreciated, I really want to learn how to do this! [: Cause hairdressers never do what I want. xD
Do you use like, a regular shaving razor? Or any of those fancy hair stylist scissors?

lol, i just use regular scissors, i don't even use a shaving razor XD
basically when i cut hair, i just go crazy and chop chop chop
that's how i get the choppy layers
and then if the layer looks too choppy i feather it (if you don't know what it means, it's making cuts vertical to hair rather then horizontally, like cutting into it)
