Thank you, I quite enjoy your work as well.
I try to keep my stuff affordable. Everything I sculpt I do for myself but it is nice to share it with others.

You make amazing sculptures May I ask what kind of clay do you use?

Thanks. Its really depends on the sculpture as to what I sculpt with. Molesti the clown was done in WED clay, Irenicus was done is a chavant/wax mixture I concocted, Innsmouth look has some parts were done in super sculpey and others in chavant, nazi gorilla and the maxx are done in wax. etc. It really just depends on what I feel like working with that day.

You're lucky you have an access to all these media.. And what about wax, is it durable? Is there any specific type of wax you use? Sorry for so many questions but I'd really love to make sculptures like yours, but I'm still not sure what to use... Normal clay is rather not the best material for me, so maybe I'll try with wax. Still, I need some advice

Access to to all these media! LOL. None of the materials I use are available locally. I have to pay out the nose and special order pretty much everything.
No problem on all the question. Tis a pleasure helping out fellow artists.
As far as the wax is concerned, it is a bit of a deep subject. Saying something is made of "wax" is akin to saying a food is made of "meat". Pork is not the same as duck and carnauba wax is not the same bees wax. The waxes I use are sculpture waxes produced by Willow Products. [link] Specifically Zen, Fuse, and 3sixty. The only big disadvantage of wax is you have to mold your sculpture and cast into a different material, like bronze or resin, if you want your sculpture to stick around for a long time.
If you are looking on getting into wax sculpture there is a fantastic book that wax published a few months ago that pretty much covers all the bases. It is called "Pop Sculpture" written by Tim Bruckner, Zach Oat, and Ruden Procopio. A Really fantastic book that I wish was available when I was starting out. It even has a few good recipes for making you own sculpture wax from relatively easy to acquire ingredient.
Hope this helps

Gash, there's so much I'd like to learn about sculpting and so little materials and media in my country.. I thought you have a better access to all of it and I was pretty shocked you have to order everything Oh yes, this hobby is quite expensive if we talk about special order of media. But still, it's easier in Canada than in Poland ;D
I'm really thankful for the tips. Hope you won't be mad if I ask you for help some time It's really great to know smn who does such a great work in sculpture
Ok, so now I know what to look for. Thanks again

Anywhere out side the US or Japan is crap for getting decent sculpture materials. In the very, very rare occasions I do find anything it costs 3-4 times the price of anywhere in the US.
If you ever need help, tips,or feedback, there are some really great sculpture forums on the net these days. I wouldn't even be a sculptor if i hadn't stumbled upon them all those years ago. There are many more knowledge and skilled able people to learn from. The clubhouse forum specifically is very good and I know there are many member from around europe that should be able to help locate materials and what not.
