My activity is very similar to yours. Life just has a lot to juggle, sometimes! I’m prepping to apply for graduation soon and just trying to figure out what I’m doing with my life afterwards. Learning some Irish Gaelic for fun... and we’ll see how that goes. For the most part I’ve been doing okay! I hope you’ve been well, too, and that you had a good birthday! Additionally, I hope you haven’t been melting with the heat waves striking the globe. I’ve never wanted winter more than I have this year.

That’s exciting; congrats on the impending graduation. Learning Gaelic sounds like a fun thing to do. I would bet it’s a particularly hard language to learn, but it’s such a different and interesting sound.
Birthday was good, my mom and brother are out here visiting so I got to spend some time with family. I am unfortunately melting because my ac is old and dying but such is life. Seriously, give me a cold winter over a hot summer plz. Blankets can fix cold, but heat is harder to combat. Thanks, you too!

I don’t know if it’s a love for languages or not, but while it’s challenging, things have been clicking together pretty quickly. I don’t know... I think learning another language just makes the world seem new again. I’ve missed that kind of optimism and curiosity, so I think this was the perfect time for me to start. I’m definitely slow to understand sentences, but I’m really hopeful I’ll get quicker. It’s a beautiful language.
I’m happy you celebrated well and had loved ones around. For me, that’s the most special part and my favorite gift to receive when the day rolls around. Though I don’t envy you for your ac situation. I’ve been melting even with air-conditioned buildings, so I can’t even imagine. That’d be absolutely miserable. I feel autumn is almost in the air here, even if it keeps flickering in and out. I hope it’s on its way to you, too! Preferably soon!
