yeah, i love smashing pumpkins. probably my favorite band ever.
and your right, theres many things that are hard to put into words. thats probably why i like more abstract poetry that tries to convey a certain mood, rather than simply explaining what can't be explained that way. music is good for conveying those things, as well.

Normally I don't like to repeat words in my poems, either, but the actual sound of hearing that particular stanza (with the "wife") was interesting to me, so I kept it there. Still not sure how I feel about it written, but I like it read if that makes sense. I appreciate your input!
