nope, not yet at least, and honestly, unless i go buy a nice sound card, i probably, will not in the near future

Hi, nice to be your friend
I'm newbie to Arch, do you know how to customize it or optimize the system? I just installed gnome and pekwm.
Can you give me any advice to arch? I haven't figure it out how to customize my system from head to toe yet. Arch is like gentoo but better and less annoyance.

hit up the forums and wiki. a lot of it will be the same as gentoo, in fact a lot of the gentoo wiki's can still be followed, minus gentoo specifics
mostly gtk for appearance, and compiz-fusion for eyecandy, plus a few extras. A lot of the stuff is in the repo's and if its not their its likely to be in the aur (arch user repository), install yaourt by grabbing from the aur, and install abs, make, etc and yaourt will connect your seamlessly to the aur, you can use it just like pacman. so makes things real easy
one of the major things is all your config files in your . folders and in /etc much like gentoo, tweak here and there and you can notice a difference
personally i've never given pekwm a try, but ill probably give it a shot sometime in the near future, once my betch work in my internship settles back down
