for me i am getting out of this zoo soon.
I had most fun in 1st/2nd yr and now in internship. Made a few very good friends, had to tolerate some retard teachers but some were very good. overall not bad. not bad at all,

yah i used to do massive fakibazi 1st n 2nd yr. had a good anatomy batch teacher back thn, physio was shit n my bio lecturer was plain dumb (which was good as we can convience her almost anything).
strangely the first friend i made was frm US in bmc n thn some others. N ya few of my close bmc friends are not frm around here n BMC teachers i guess hav a thing for foreign kids. 3rd/4th yr gets more serious i guess lots more items n classes n stupid forensic n commed is thr also.
Come to think of it i had my worst experience in 3rd n 4th yr.
I dont want to scare you though hopefully you will have better luck than me.

me n my friends r nerds and cant do fakibazi for some reason and even if we think of it, we're like the only ppl left in the class so cant proceed the bunking :S

ha ha i had to give All my immunology items 3/4 times in microbio just beacuse i once pointed out tht Monalisa mam ( my fav!? batch teacher)was wrong abt smthing she taught, ... ya i was seriously planning to run her over with my car then she had a kid and i went soft ha ha ha. Atleast nobody in my class knows immunology better than me but i hate immunology nonetheless.

Plans after internship hmmmm. a vacation first.... opted for europe if my dad sponsor me ( unlikely)or atleast around Himalays
i might give USMLE.

yeah if u point out to a teacher that he/(mostly)she is wrong then they make u study the wrong things lol.
after i came to bmc i've been fantasizing about all the violent stuff, for example, kidnapping teachers' kids...since thats all they can think about (bachcha kachchader skul theke kokhon anbe, tader ki khawabe, etc etc).

i cant wait for the 5yrs to end i'll go for a vacation too..if i survive. himalayas? awesome.

talking abt kidnapping kids its a very bad idea ... and here is why once Farhana mams kid ( forensic) threatened to kill me with a fork ( true story )just because i pointed tht his fly(zipper) was open. ha ha.

Ya you should take a vacation frm time to time otherwise its real easy to get loopy in thr.

and the game .... horrible .. i was inclined towards the blue stripes but Germany played absolutely fabulous. :[.

And you will survive some how dont worry.Just have to keep ur cool.

sometimes i get so jealous of the seniors who r walking around bmc so over with all the torture.

seriously? teachers' kids can be that violent?! but its a funny story ha ha...bet he was off trying to charm all ur girl mates

i was also supporting argentina coz of my mom as she's like a huge fan and everything though i knew germany will win anyway, didnt expect this huge win. ppl at college r gloating that they lost..dunno what it has anything to do with brazil.

Mostly its nice tht no more items n exams or retard lecturers to deal with .... but its the crunch time. During internship no more fakibazi and wht you do have actual consequences. And if you want to do good you have to do overtime. my routine became work in hospital in the morning come home n sleep (after 3/4 pm most days) or if i hav duty go to hospital again and work whole night. And if you dont do your work thn someother hav to do it (rarely happens) or it doesnt get done ultimately patient suffers.So you just hav to work n work n work...

I hav no vacation this year even in Govt holidays there might be duties so it kinda sucks.

dont know why, it sounds fun. maybe because i have a physiology viva (supplement) tomorrow and im scared to death. this is how i screwed up the first time (got nervous) which is why i have to sit for the supplement in the first place.
so late night duties sound fun right now somehow.

really am thinking to go for a vacation as soon as the load's lighter. brain's set on a summer mode.

Ya me and my friends used to do group study meaning more adda thn study but it somehow kept the tension low. n ya giving suppli viva sucks. I miss those group sudies now everyone is so busy...

my viva went horrible too....afreen mam sure can ruin a day and a potential holiday during which i cudve gone to rajshahi with my family and cousins.

we do have group studies its just that my friends dont really know how to lighten up so its more of studying than anything else.

eeek psych ward is ummm ... crazy!!...
No i just had a rough night at medicine ward. A old guy crashed in ward and i had to give him CPR n all tht, atropine adrenaline etc... couldnt intubate or defibrillate him ..we dont hav tht facility in ward. He was very old n very sick n patient party refused to take him to ICu as they had financial prob. So in the middile of the night giving CPR amidst all the crying n shit ... and he died. Had to write my first death certificate. so ya it was..... bad.


on brighter notes/or not Afreen mam mostly doesnt understand physio. she would want you to cram n stuff i guess.
And ya you might need some fun loving/loopy?! friends

im telling u we're the weirdest batch bmc has ever seen. we dont even know when to take auto..seniors have to advise us my friends can be fun when they want to be fun. otherwise i'll just have to crack lame jokes to make ppl laugh.

speaking of auto .... we didnt do class for a month after our 1st prof result came out. Back thn abt 35 ppl got hons in anatomy so in this achievement we stopped comming to class ....
By the time reult came out we were already doing 3rd yr classes but we took an auto anyway. .....

it sounds fun but it did came back bitting us back in the ass. every teacher in class were like .... those who got hons stand up and ans these questions n if you dont get it right they r like " how the F u got hons" ....so we start hiding the fact tht WE ACTUALLY GOT HONS HA HA.

I guess u guys are SERIOUS abt studying. thts good u need strong basic to good in medicine. And u need physio every step of the way more than anatomy n biochem.

And i guess its a bit overwhelming whn u start practicing medicine in real life. Ur actions have real consequences and what u have learned u have to be able to apply otherwise all tht cramming n stuff is useless.

all ppl do here is cram, that's why they seem so serious. eto memorize kore they dont actually get wat they're studying.

ya getting hons eventually doesnt mean anything, hell even how many marks u got in prof doesnt mean anything as long as u pass regularly ... u hav to give post grad exam n blah blah blah..

yup...she's pretty nice now that her daughter's in our batch and is suffering alot, esp coz of the physio teachers.

oh our auto turned into a disaster: some loser from our batch went to class even though he fully well knew we were on auto and went to saleha mam's class and went like 'everybody's taking auto, but im here', so obviously saleha mam went crazy and refuse to take our suppli. Then he also went for anatomy where the teachers thought he was a loser too and apparently they found it very funny.
And this doesn't stop here. That guy went to college every single day of our auto and gave his percentage. So duh the teachers have no other choice but to scold us.
