# About me

I started my art career as a cartoonist by writing and illustrating my own comic books. The comics unfortunately didn't really pay the bills, so I then worked as an artist at a screen printers, designing and colour separating artwork for t-shirts. I've spent the last 14 years (am I really that old?) in the signwriting industry which didn't offer that much room for creativity. I have only recently rekindled my interest in art and it's fantastic to have a site like Deviant Art to get inspiration from on those days when the laziness kicks in.
