Thanks for comment. Mostly fractals are repeating pattern which zoomed reminds main shape. But You can always find such coloring and such zoomed part that doesn't remind the mandelbrot shape or julia. But zooming it a few times and zooming not every part but those who are designed to be repeated can provide to discovering the main shape again and again.
The fractals are made in Ultra Fractal, Apophysis, Xenodrom etc.. If they use fractal formulas, if they are accepted by mathematics as fractal generators - I don't see a problem in accepting them as fractals.
