Hey, I'm glad you like my newest drawings! The landscape pieces you posted are really interesting, are they edited photos, or what?

An HDR (high dynamic range) photo is a compilation of several images taken of the same location at different exposure levels, some of which capture the darkest details while leaving the bright areas mostly washed out, and some of which show all the bright details while leaving the dark areas mostly black. Digital camera sensors are not capable of showing all of the details at once, and even the human eye has limits, but it can automatically readjust itself. Putting photos together this way gives a sort of hyper-real quality to photography, but I actually need to rework mine because the effect is supposed to be more like this one ( [link] )

You're welcome.
And no, I'm from California. But my last name is originally Polish, so good guess.

Yes, it looks like typical polish last name, so I thougt it's probably that you come from Poland
But in my opinion you are lucky to live in Califronia

Yeah, CA is nice, especially towards the north end. I catch myself wishing I was back there a lot.
Life moves on though, and I'm here on the other side of the country...

I was hoping someone from SW would come take a look.
Your sunset pics have really good color. What kind of camera do you use?
