AshenCloud padded up to he "Have you seen lostkit? I have to care for the poor little scrap" She mewed

Yellowpaw whipped her head around to Ashencloud. "L-Lostkit?" Yellowpaw thought that she had hidden the ghost kit well. How did Ashencloud find out?

"We found him crying by a tree me and wildpath and a lot happened today" she mewed fluffing he pelt to hide the scratches on her side

"Don't worry about him, he'll be gone soon..." her voice trailed off, the words flooded with sadness. She almost flinched at the mention of Lostkit being gone. She'd been talking to him for a few sunrises and she had grown attached to the kit. It tore her heart to know that the kit trusted her so much, and she could only hope that she could help him. Desperate to get off the topic, she sniffed the area that Ashencloud was trying to cover. "What happened?" she asked worried.

"How can he hear us? He can't leave the tree!" (also established with blitzwing-fan) by this time tears had begun to form in Yellowpaw's eyes. The news had hit her like a monster and she realized that she loved Lostkit like he was her own.
