# About me

Shaiful Islam was born in Narayanganj district of Bangladesh in 1989. He has started as a Freelance Photography Since 2010. He has completed Basic Course on Photography from Dhaka University Photography society (DUPS) and Foundation Course on photography from South Asian Media Academy (PATHSHALA) Dhaka. He participated in many workshops under reputed photographers; Gmb Akash, Rafiqul Islam and others. Currently work under world renowned photographer Gmb Akash supervision.
He is one of the active member of Narayanganj Photographic Club (NPC) and also member of Bangladesh Photographic Society (BPS).
He has attained different national and international photo competition and his work exhibit In Dhaka, Chittagong and Narayanganj.
Photography is his love, his life. Photography is his hobby, his passion, and his profession. He loves to take lifestyle photography. He wants to be a Documentary Photo Journalist. He loves meeting with new people and their culture. On his continued search to meet the most interesting, dynamic characters of our world, he had decided to start compiling a list of people he would love to take a portrait of.

Hi welcome to #take-a-photo
anywhere, any subject, any photo
we are a friendly group, who are all big fans of photography.

Submissionss
Members are allowed to submit 2 photographs per month.
If you have a question as to why your piece was not accepted, please feel free to ask us! We'll do our best to give you a reason and some suggestions as to how to make it better.

Rules
We accept all types of photography into our general submissions including portraits, nature, animals, macro, abstract, photojournalism, city and rural, artistically beautiful nudes, etc. We simply ask that you submit your best work!
The main subject, whatever that might be, clearly in focus
No snapshots (ex: no webcam shots or "facebook/myspace" like self-portraits)
No crude nudes
We do NOT accept photographs taken from cars or windows
We have Minimal Quality Standards. We judge photos based on the photography basics and rules. For example: exposure, focus, lighting, composition, noisiness, colors, contrast, white balance, etc..
We do NOT accept Highly manipulated works.
Photographs with large watermarks will be declined. (if dA watermark or any other watermark interferes with the viewing of the deviation then it WILL be declined)
Blurry and out of focus images, as well as overexposed or underexposed photographs will be declined.
photographs must be of artistic quality. Not a photo that you would upload to something like facebook, like a picture of your cat or a photo of you and your friends

we are currently in the middle of our 2nd big contest of which the details can be found in the contest journal and news article
we are also saving up for super group status, if you can please donate, any points are helpful.
