It's an intensive writing/fiction class. We just read a bunch of stories and then write essays about them. Company of Wolves is my favorite so far. x]

Mine is about literature and the moral imagination with a focus of storytelling. We read novels and short stories and discuss the moral and ethical implications of them. We've been dealing a lot with coming of age and gender roles, and Company of Wolves fits into that pretty nicely.

xD I go to a religious liberal arts university, so we're all about ethics, morality, society...that sort of stuff.

This class is actually a requirement for I believe everyone? I'm taking the honors level one for my own requirements though. Sooo confusing.

Nice. My major is all about ethics too, surprisingly. I'm an Informatics major, which basically just means I work with computers. Like an IT person. But I'm focused on more user-centered technology than programming.

Sounds like a core class. Mine is a core class, too.

Neat. I'm a pre-medicine chemsitry major so I have a bio minor, but also a history minor, which leads to some really fun classes. Also means we talk about scientific integrity and medical ethics a lot too, hehe.

Informatics sounds cool. If you're not a programmer, do you design technology? Or is it more of supporting existing systems?

Core classes can be fun, thankfully. I like being able to take a lot of theology, philosophy, foreign language...all of it.

Pre-med chemistry? So you're double majoring? Are you gonna be one of those cool scientists that research diseases and come up with cures? I wanted to be one of those guys for the longest time, but then I realized that it actually requires knowledge of a ridiculous amount of information, so I didn't want to anymore. xD

Informatics does both. It's such a wide area of study that one could do literally anything within.

I don't like math, though. Once I get into my major classes, I'm sure math will be more fun because I'll actually see a purpose in it, ha.

Well, at my school, pre-med isn't a major, it's simply an intention. So my major is chemistry and with all the classes required for medical school, I've picked up a biology minor. I'm actually planning on primarily being a physician, treating patients and such, but I'll be equipped to do research as well. Haha, yeah there's a ton of information involved, but I find most of it really fascinating so it's fun. x)

That's really neat. Sounds like a highly useful major and interesting too! Though I admit I hate math, too.
