Hello there! And yes the idea is certainly back on the table with my Star Wars hype returning steadily, with the new movies coming out and all.

However it may take me a while to getting around to it; since most of my writing time is devoted mostly to the webcomic my friend and I are working on. ^^

Well if Shika Cloudrunner and Ahsoka ever knew each other, would they be rivals from the start like trying to outdo one another as worthy opponents, or would Ahsoka feel hurt and betrayed by Shika's defection to Grievous?

Oh this is a good question!

To be honest I hadn't thought about that at all since I stopped writing the fanfic shortly before the new Clone Wars. But if she did know Ahsoka, I'd imagine the two of them would get along as well as any two Jedi could. Not close enough to create a strong or notable friendship, but at least know each other by name. Maybe met in a hallway and conversed a couple of times.

So if they ever met on the battlefield, which could happen in the rewrite given how often Ahsoka meets with Grievous, I'd imagine Ahsoka would feel a twinge of betrayal not because they knew each other, but simply because Shika turned her back on the Council. (All of this would be prior to Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order of course) So they'd probably hesitate to fight each other. Because on Shika's end, she struggles with her decision of joining the Separatists and finds it hard to fight the people she once served. And for Ahsoka, Shika wouldn't be behaving in a villainous way because of her conflicting feelings over who's side she's loyal to.

In the end I'd imagine Ahsoka would sense the good in Shika and try to connect with her that way to urge her back to the Jedi Order, and Shika would probably just run to avoid hurting Ahsoka. But this is all probability and may not end up being what is written in the fanfic. :]

So what about Asajj Ventress? She and Grievous weren't on the best of terms with each other and Sidious, keeping tabs on Anakin, ordered Dooku to throw her out and branded her Public enemy n1.
