yup, i'm a newby, not quite technically talented though so am having a fight with my scanner. A lot of my photos don't turn out so well once they're on the comp

if your scans are turning out grainy try [link] it is a free downloadable program that cleans up your photo. Goodluck with the experiments. Keep it up.

yeh i know, in the process of scanning, remind me again why the hell i do everything the long way?!...you wouldn't know what res i should be scanning these?.....supposed to be at saras but getting a bit obsessed with this, think i might just spend the night in the darkroom

lol, scan them at say 300dpi, might be a bit on the large side but better to big than too small.
