heartbroken is more a fact of life than state of being for me. i wish i could say one gets used to it, or that it gets easier, but neither is true.

careful with posting poetry to this site... complex words tend to get overlooked in favor of the simple beauty, the immediate gratification, of pictures. no thought; just you and something pretty. sadly, the world of the reader has gone into hibernation.

if you are refering to Adrain then there was supposed to be no emotion. at the time i was studing e.e. cummings and Emily Dickinson, they both believed that the reader should work for the poem. and i agree. if every day vocabulary is too complex, then the reader is too simple. Also, i posted a warning that i was going to be uploading poetry, so if that isn't ur bag then move on. i'm sorry you don't like my poem. perhaps if you tried you'd see the simple beauty. i was painting a picture of how perfect my day was, and then out of no where someone i loved died in Iraq. death happens at any time, not just when you are ready.
