I watched the first four? seasons with one of my friends as soon as he bought the released seasons on DVD. With my last college semester and my enrolling in university, my job and everything, I haven't had the time to catch up with the newer episodes though ;-;

Ooooh I really love fake screenshots!! It's so much fun to cross mediums and use still images to convey the feeling of a video/cartoon!
I think you've been improving a lot! Your grasp on lighting & composition is much better, the poses you draw seem more dynamic & varied! Just keep working at it! My only advice would be to add more details to the background to make them seem more believable. I understand that not every shot in an anime is necessarily detailed, but I think it'd help the viewer buy it a little bit more.

Thank you so much <3 I do suck at backgrounds but I've been doing better. Its difficult with the brushes I have and the tablet I'm using, and all together with current family matters and my set up. I've been doing lineart on a transparent background on the Procreate app on the ipad pro and I do coloring and the rest on photoshop, with limited brushes. Its not my photoshop so I'm not allowed to download new brushes--

It looks awesome!!!!!! You most certainly don't suck at backgrounds, I think you just gotta get used to drawing them more often nwn Test and try a few methods til you find something that works for you! I have a similar problem with my tablet (it doesn't support pen pressure on SAI, I've tried EVERYTHING - and my normal brushes are pretty blurry and i can't get them to be crisp). Eventually (recently) I tried using a binary brush to draw. It simulates pen pressure and the lines are way sharp!!! I'm sure you'll end up figuring something out! <33

That sounds pretty good, I'll look into it! Back home I use Manga Studio/Clip Paint Studio, but I do want Sai really badly. I hear there will be like a 2.0 version coming soon and hopefully its compatible with Mac-- I don't want to use the fake versions of sai people have made "compatible" with Mac, I don't trust it-- my dad would kiiiiilll meeeee if I got some sorta virus, even if macs are "virus proof" ;v;
Its nothing major really, my parents are just divorcing. I'm just super frustrated cause it affects my art and I'm like "WHYYYY SHOULD THIS STOP MY CREATIVITY I DON'T CARE ANYMORE" TTvTT
