Just dropping by to say I'm glad you liked my gallery. I am a little intrigued by your technique... Does your felting involves raw wool, or already woven wool ? Also, I saw your question in textiles alliance and was wondering where to answer...

hello
for felting i use raw wool or carded wool, but yes it's not spinned or woven ... the works are created by felting; rubbing the wool with water and soap till it starts to shrink and stick together. Sometimes i use "finished"textiles to felt into the raw wool though, it kinda depends on the design ...
I'm curently working on a pillow made from raw wool, straight from the sheep, so it looks rather rough ... hope to post a photo in a week or so.
Ah you can leave a comment at the journal or write a note, but writing a comment is the most easy coz everyone will be able to read it that way (you can post a devint comment at the front page as well, but they dissapear after some time, while i prefer to keep the asnwers, as a guidline for our members)
