hmmm....I studied a bit of anatomy(for bio, not art); it does help cos i have some idea of how bones join up.
I also learnt quite a bit from how-to-draw-manga books(yes there are certain books from this series that are actually useful). Also ref and practice/exploration i guess? After drawing reffed pose, reverse-engineer it (ie, draw in the midlines, bones, ribs, spine) and study how they worked/joined/overlapped in that view so that next time similar poses will not need refs... something like that...

Ahh I see I found that a trend for artists with great anatomy skills - a lot of em said they studied bio. Now I regret turning up that kinesiology course in high school... I guess I mainly need more practice (whysolazy). I currently learned a lot from the posemaniacs site for sketching practice, if you've heard of it, but it's kinda limited.

oh i get it now! you should help me! i am making a manga about a 15 year old girl who lives in America and is a weeabo and loves anime! also has a pervy little brother and a little sister who only talks about how cute things are! the problem is i don't know what to name it and i don't want start till i name it!
