yes, I LOVE THE MARS VOLTA. I saw them live this past summer. INCREDIBLE. I talked with omar and shook his hand too. I was a big At The Drive-In fan too before mars volta. You like them too?

I was supposed to go see them in November, but then i got sick, i was really upset, but my friends who went in syracuse got me pics and such as well as a book of poetry by their opening act (saul williams, have you heard him?) Talked to omar eh? what was that like?? im so jealous. I was into At The Driven before the mars volta as well.

personally im partial to red medicine, but that might have something to do with the fact that i had just started to play piano when i got that album, and to hear them adding in piano, especially in a jazz (another passion of mine) based way it was like "whoa! fugazi has piano... i play piano!!!" ok yea... im a dork.

aww, sorry to hear that. yeah i saw saul williams, he was awesome. talking to omar was ok, i just said "Hey dude" and shook his hand. I dont know if that counts for "talking". His hand was so brittle, he barley gave my hand a grip. Probably because of the large amounts of heroin he had for breakfast. lol.
