Description The sky rips a hole
   black as my cup of coffee
      black as my daily sins
Through a sun many years ago
   that was once ours before
      we learned to fly

Glaring through our dusty visors
   staring down at a world that
      we destroyed.

If I have learned anything,
it was to dodge a bullet
and stray from an event horizon.
