Description
1. Base sketch done with marker tool ^^ nothing super clean or detailed2. Quick background and base colors
3. Really rough shades + lighting lmao. That face thooooo gurl
4. Cleaning up some shades a bit on hair + face
5. Detailed eyes OooOo. Also fixed some proportions a bit
6. Adding details to shirt
7. Cleaning up the hair and makin it all niceish *_*
8. Editing colors and lighting in Gimp (lolol). This is my favorite step bc it makes my art look kinda nice magically T_T<3

I've used Gimp for years even though I also have photoshop, it's just so simple & gets the job done ^^

I had Gimp in my old computer before it crashed permanently, and add lots of extensions to it,
now I got the Gimp again on my new computer but I can't remember how I even add in the brush
or create one but still uses it from time to time along with Medibang and Krita.
I should try to see if I do a painting like your with this stock Gimp
